Addyson is a disabled individual living in Greater Minnesota who is also the adoptive parent to her 17 year old daughter Lydia who also lives with significant disabilities. Addyson believes whole heartedly in the independent living movement and utilizes it with her daughter in all ways possible. Addyson is active in advocacy and policy issues surrounding mental health, disability, rare disease, child welfare, and human rights issues from the city, county, regional, state and federal levels. Addyson is Chair of the Minnesota Council on Disability. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her partner Adam and daughter Lydia and taking road trips.
