New Vistas
Founded in 1971, New Vistas has been providing services to people with disabilities in Northern New Mexico for over 53 years. In 1981, our agency became the first Center for Independent Living in the state of New Mexico. As a Center for Independent Living, New Vistas offers a wide variety of services to our local communities to support adults, teens and children with disabilities. These services are provided through two distinct service programs: Early Intervention Services: The New Vistas Early Intervention Program provides family-centered early intervention services to children birth through 3 years of age who have or are at risk for developmental delay and who reside in Santa Fe, San Miguel or Mora counties. Disability Support and Advocacy Services: The Disability Support and Advocacy Program provides independent living services to any age individual with a disability living within Rio Arriba, Taos, Colfax, Union, Mora, Harding, Los Alamos, Santa Fe and San Miguel counties.
