How to Renew Your April Membership (For Existing Members)
Renewing your April membership is a simple process, especially if you already have an existing account. Follow the steps below to reactivate your membership and regain access to all member benefits.
Step 1: Log in to Your Portal
Sign in to your account on the April member portal using your existing credentials.
Step 2: Access Your Membership Status
Once logged in, navigate to the “Membership” tab or select “Membership Status” from the left sidebar.
Step 3: Check Your Membership Status
If your membership has expired, it will be listed as Inactive. You’ll see a Reactivate My Membership button at the top of the page.
Step 4: Reactivate Your Membership
Click the Reactivate My Membership button. This will redirect you to the signup page for renewal.
Step 5: Choose Your Payment Method
You can choose to pay online or offline:
- Online Payment: You’ll be prompted to enter your payment details.
- Offline Payment: You’ll receive instructions to send your payment receipt and plan name to April, or you may call Alyssa to pay over the phone. These instructions will also appear in your portal after submission.
Step 6: Confirm Your Existing Account
When asked if you already have a portal login, select Yes, I’m renewing my membership. This will hide fields that are already saved in your profile.
Step 7: Select Membership Type
Choose the appropriate membership type (e.g., Voting, Individual/Consumer) and fill in any other required information.
Step 8: Submit Your Renewal
After completing the form and payment, submit your renewal. You’ll see a confirmation message. If you have an existing account, your username and password will remain unchanged.
Step 9: Membership Status Update
Your membership status will update automatically (may take a few minutes):
- For offline payments, your status will show as Offline Payment Pending until payment is confirmed.
- Once payment is fulfilled, your status will update to Active, and you’ll regain access to all member features, such as the directory and voting.
Step 10: Additional Options
You can view your membership details, update your profile, or choose another membership type if needed.
