MNSILC is a federally funded statewide independent living council. The majority of the council members are people with disabilities who are appointed to serve by the Governor. MNSILC promotes the programs and services of the eight independent living centers in Minnesota. MNSILC is responsible for completing, monitoring and evaluating the three-year state plan for independent living (SPIL)
